Located on the coast of Sweden, this project maximizes natural light through floor-to-ceiling glazing. The palette is strictly monochromatic, using varying shades of white and grey to reflect the changing Nordic sky.
The concept was driven by the desire to create a timeless aesthetic. We utilized a material palette that would age gracefully—natural oak, raw linen, and unlacquered brass. Every detail was meticulously considered to ensure functional flow without compromising on the visual serenity of the space.
Light played a crucial role in the architectural modification. By opening up the south-facing walls, we allowed sunlight to traverse the interior throughout the day, creating an ever-changing atmosphere of shadows and brilliance.
